ESG Compliance
Your business must now report its emissions by law
A new UAE federal law requires every business — mainland or free zone — to measure and report its greenhouse gas emissions. The first deadline is May 2026. We help you get there without the complexity.

Plain language
What this actually means for your business
UAE Federal Law No. 11 of 2024 is not a future obligation. It is already in force. Here is what it requires, in plain terms.
01
You must measure your emissions
Every business in the UAE must calculate how much carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases its operations produce each year. This includes energy use, fuel consumption, refrigerants, and other sources across all your locations.
02
You must report them officially
The data cannot sit in a spreadsheet. It must be submitted through a Ministry-approved system, verified by an independent third party, and auditable. Self-reported estimates without supporting data will not be accepted.
03
You must have a plan to reduce them
Reporting alone is not enough. The law requires businesses to set reduction targets and demonstrate progress year on year. Businesses that cannot show a credible reduction plan face escalating obligations.
